"Pretty good timing overall"
The guide was on time, and the tour moved along smoothly, you know. There was a small wait at one stop, but it wasn’t a big deal.

"I had to cancel at the last..."
I had to cancel at the last minute and figured it was going to turn into a hassle for me. But support got back to me quickly, and my refund showed up a few days later. I didn’t have to keep chasing anyone, which I really appreciated. Super easy on my end.

"Really good history tour"
I really enjoyed this tour. The guide clearly knew the history and local culture, and just from the way they talked about it, you could tell they genuinely cared about the place. They made everything easy to follow without feeling like a lecture.

"Good guide, just not amazing"
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and, uh, answered most of our questions well. You could tell they’d done this plenty of times and genuinely enjoyed talking about the history.

That said, some parts felt a little rushed, and a few explanations weren’t as clear as I hoped. It was still a good tour overall, but I guess I expected just a bit more from the guide.

"Decent support, just kinda slow"
Customer service was okay, nothing terrible but not exactly amazing either
I had a question about my booking and they did get back to me, it just took longer than I thought it would. The answer helped once it finally came through, but I was trying to sort out plans so the wait was a little annoying. overall not a bad experience, just wish they were quicker

"Great itinerary without the avoidable backtracking"
We used The Tour Guy for our Rome trip, and the itinerary was the highlight. It covered the big sights, but still gave us enough breathing room to stop for food, wander a little, and not feel like we were just checking boxes.
Nothing felt rushed, and the order of everything actually made sense, which helped us avoid a lot of totally avoidable backtracking across the city. It was easy to follow on the day, and I’d definitely use them again.

"Wait, Where Are We Meeting?!"
The tour itself was fine, but the messages beforehand were confusing. The meeting point info changed, and I had to ask twice just to be sure where to go?! Support did get back to me, but late, which made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be.

Overall, it was okay, but I definitely felt like things were a bit unorganized. Nothing too terrible, but it had that kind of messy feeling that makes the whole experience less smooth than it should be.

"I booked with The Tour Guy mainly..."
I booked with The Tour Guy mainly for the skip-the-line access, it was worth it. I’m one of those people who starts noticing patterns in crowds and wait times, and as soon as I saw the regular line, I knew we’d made the right call. It was massive, but we met our guide, followed the instructions, and got in quickly. Nothing overly fancy or dramatic — it just did exactly what it was supposed to do. I’d definitely use them again for any super busy attraction.

The guide was friendly and we did get to see quite a lot, so I can’t say it was a bad experience. But for what we paid, I expected a bit more. It felt a little overpriced for what was included. Also, there was no follow-up afterward, which was disappointing, even a quick message to check in or share a recap would’ve been nice. Overall, it was okay, just not the best value for money.

"Such a nice guide, honestly"
Our guide was just really easy to be around, if that makes sense. Super friendly, chatted with everyone naturally, and didn’t make us feel weird for asking random questions. The whole thing had a good feeling to it because of him. I’m only giving 4 stars because the meeting spot was kind of confusing at first, but overall the guide was great...

The group wasn’t too big, which was great tbh. Our guide kept everyone together really well without making it feel rushed or stressful. Overall, super easy to follow and a chill experience.
